Plan for Community (stop the rot)

NEXT RALLY COMING IN 2019

07 November 2018 RALLY (Photos below)

Thank you to everyone for attending and participating in the first “Plan for Community” Rally to wake up the Local and State Government sector that the community is not happy and will continue to voice their concerns until a Commission is held into local government reform and the impact that State Government planning policies are having on our grassroots communities

Special thank you to our MC Russell Goodrick for his time, expertise and professionalism for the rally to be such a success.

To all the wonderful and dedicated speakers who represented their individual concerned community groups with professionals, respect and integrity on the day you are all a credit to your organizations.

With 13 individual speakers and 30 groups represented from throughout Western Australia all with their own individual stories showcasing the passion for their communities, they were joined on stage to also voice their concerns with the current impact of local government and the planning system on the community by three parliamentarians, Alison Xamon MLC, Tony Krsticevic MLA, and Charles Smith MLC.

In order to give the community, the residents, the ratepayers a fair voice at this rally NO Councillors or Local and State Government CEO’s or staff were asked to speak at the rally but all were welcome to attend.

Every parliamentarian in Western Australia was asked to attend the “Plan for Community”. It was sad to see that neither the Labor WA and the Nationals WA , could not even send one person to speak at the Rally.

Hopefully all the groups will circulate information, photos etc from the day to show the government the community will not stand silent and empower other groups to join the cause for Reform of the Local Government sector and Planning

Tapes and photos from the rally are available from Russell Goodrick (see below) for a fee, as he had organised cameraman etc for the rally.

Thank you again for your support of WA communities
